A warm welcome to Hong Kong Women in Publishing Society (WiPS).

We are an international group of women based, or previously based, in Hong Kong who are either involved in or interested in some aspect of publishing. We’re writers, poets, artists, photographers, illustrators, editors, proofreaders, copywriters, graphic designers, journalists, publishers, or quite simply people who enjoy the written word.

Come join us and meet like-minded people at our events. Engage with our speakers. Join our Facebook group for more publishing related news, job opportunities and projects before they hit the classifieds. Or, just come along to our regular social networking evenings.

As members of our society, you can increase your visibility by being listed in our MEMBERS’ DIRECTORY. You also have the opportunity to be featured online in:

  • MEMBERS’ SHOWCASE – a platform where members can display a newly released book or exhibited artwork
  • WOMAN AT WORK – a chance for members to share their creative journeys, introduce their work or their businesses, and in doing so inspire others
  • FACEBOOK – an opening for discussion and for members to promote any personal publishing related event

If you’ve always wanted to see your name in print, now’s your chance. WiPS members have the opportunity to be published in IMPRINT, our annual anthology written and produced entirely by members (and sold at major bookshops in Hong Kong).

“Laugh, cry, cringe, and then some. These are a few of the emotions and feelings elicited by the featured stories, poetry and musings about life in Imprint 21. This volume is a lovely reminder that we have so much writing talent here. A good read! Bravo to you and your team.” – Cammy Yiu, Editor in Chief, CULTURE Magazine
