Longing to make your own book? In this workshop, you will learn to make a long-stitch journal using reclaimed soft leather. Rachel Smith of Senselessart Studio will guide all participants through this personalised evening session for WiPS members and friends. All materials will be provided and each person will be able to choose her own fastening to finish her book. The result will be a very versatile book suitable for writing, journals, scrapbooks or sketching.
Senselessart Studio is located in Prince Edward in Kowloon, steps away from the MTR. It is the creative home of Rachel Smith, a Canadian multi-media artist living and working in Hong Kong. Best known for her hand portraits, Rachel is currently working on a series of watercolour paintings inspired by 16th century embroidery. Click here to view the latest works from Rachel’s studio.
