Smartphone Stories: A Photography Workshop

Loading Events

Ever wondered what all the functions on your phone camera do? Wanna tell a story using pictures? As smartphones get smarter, we’re left wondering how to maximise their features to take exceptional photographs of the beauty that surrounds us. In our first-ever photography workshop, we’re thrilled that Jayne Russell of Jayne Russell Photography (https://jaynerussell.photoshelter.com/index) will guide us through the fundamentals of taking insta-worthy shots of our beloved city using only your smartphone. You’ll not only learn to adjust the settings on your phone camera but also understand the fundamentals of where to focus that lens. We’ll end the morning with a self-paid lunch (optional) and your final shots will be entered into a competition, the winner of which will be reimbursed for the workshop and win a chance to have their picture featured in our next newsletter. So, charge your phone, ladies, and register quickly, as space is limited to 8 spots!
