She creates installations and artworks arising from experiences of 14 years in the Asia-Pacific region, using various materials from 19th century photo chemicals to sharks fins to US and Chinese currency. She lives and works in Kowloon.

    • Jen Brown is a Seattle-based lawyer and writer. After 12 years abroad – including four years in Hong Kong – she recently repatriated to the US. Jen’s legal work is focused on land rights and international development and she spent a decade working and travelling for the international NGO, Landesa.     • Eileen Cheng was born and raised in Hong Kong. She lived in Rome from 1979 where she worked for the United Nations and on her retirement returned to Hong Kong in January 2010. She is an enthusiastic artist, working on paper in watercolour, ink and colour pencils.

With cameras always on hand and her lens naturally drawn towards scenes rich with colour, movement and pattern, her photos are taken on the go as a way to view with new eyes the aspects of life in vibrant cities that become routine with time and exposure.

She has worked in Hong Kong as a NET teacher, a proofreader for BT, and a copywriter for Oasis and parenting magazines. Currently she is a communication tutor at HKUST. Her scope covers editing, proofreading, résumé and job applications, interviewing and presentation skills, and running conversation and writing courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
