    • Originally from the UK, Dr Karen Moyse has been living in Hong Kong for two years. Her background is in research psychology and children’s nursing. Karen’s PhD focused on children of seven to twelve years and their use of mobile phones, finding that the development of freedom could be supported with its use for children. Karen has written articles and a book.

    • Treena Nairne is a writer, a teacher and an editor. After careers in daily newspapers, teaching and educational publishing, she moved to corporate communications in 2005. She holds degrees in journalism and education, and has taught freelance journalism and English in Hong Kong. Treena was president of WiPS in 2004 to 2005.

    • Mary-Jane is senior publishing manager for Asia Education at Oxford University Press. She has studied English language and communication studies and holds a master’s degree in media, culture and communication, as well as a master’s degree in business administration. She is the author of three collections of poetry, Of Symbols Misused (2011), Unlocking (2013) and Cruel Little Bird (2016).

    • Dania Shawwa Abuali is a book editor living in Hong Kong since 1997. She founded Haven Books in 2005, publishing 40+ titles of fiction and non-fiction. Dania previously worked for publishing houses in New York, having studied at the University of Toronto and then at Northwestern. Dania edited Imprint for three years and is a former president of WiPS.
