From rural Wales,armed with a law degree from London and experience of residential care work in Scotland, Hong Kong gave me the opportunity to teach for which I am ever grateful. I love to write poetry and short stories . I am however a far more prolific photographer. Scenery and contrasts are my preferred subjects.

A recovering HK lawyer and trained mediator, she resolves conflicts while contributing to print and online publications. A former WiPS president, she just published a second illustrated children’s book written by her mother.

Carol Dyer began a career in medical publishing over 20 years ago and now runs her own editorial business, accepting work in an extensive range of medical and other fields from social science and education to memoir and fiction. Experienced and reliable, Carol has edited and project-managed Imprint for 14 years and can advise on book publishing.
Jennifer (BA ,- Chinese MA - Asian Studies; MA, PhD) specializes in educational/cultural writing and editing with an Asia focus. Apart from her freelance work, she teaches stylistics and discourse analysis at the Open University of Hong Kong, and is a language consultant/writer/translator, and ideas generator at Jao Tsung-I Academy, a historic complex that promotes education and Chinese culture. Jennifer also teaches English, linguistics, and literature to private students.
