Sarah Brennan is the Hong Kong-based author and publisher of 16 children’s books, including the best-selling Chinese Calendar Tales. Her story Storm Whale, published in the UK and Australia, was listed for multiple literary awards. She visits primary schools around the world with her books and writing workshops, and regularly speaks about the critical importance of literacy in the digital age.
Lindsay Varty is an author, writer and professional rugby player. She lives and breathes Hong Kong, where she was raised, and is fascinated by its culture and history. Sunset Survivors is a tribute to that fascination. Her work has been featured on CNN, in the Guardian, the Hong Kong Museum of History, and the recent Hong Kong International Literary Festival. She also gives cultural talks and walking tours.
Clare Stearns is the theatre director of Perilous Mouths Entertainment and was Head of Theatre at Chinese International School. She is the creator of several original plays that have sought to re-interpret the lives of famous writers from the female perspective. These include Constance (Oscar Wilde), Letters to the Beloved (Charles Dickens), The Leap of Love (George Eliot) and Piano Moments (Charles Darwin).
